Danielle is an American artist currently working as an educator and manager with glass artist Leisa Wharington at The Studio & Co in Moorooduc, VIC. Born in Atlanta, GA - Danielle completed her BFA in Painting at Ringling College of Art & Design in 2015. While at RCAD, Danielle earned a scholarship to Pilchuck Glass School, which introduced the medium of glass into her vocabulary. Between 2014 - 2019 she attended Pilchuck numerous times as a student and staff member, interned at UrbanGlass in NYC, and worked for various artists and studios in the US. Notable positions include working at Duncan McClellan Gallery from 2015 - 2017 and running Atlanta Hot Glass between 2017 - 2019. Since Sept 2019, Danielle has been living and working in Melbourne, Australia. She completed a Master of Creative Arts degree at Deakin University in late 2022 with a body of work combining glass, painting, and recycled plasticd with previous art works. Her paintings and mixed media sculpture focus on the cyclical nature of creation and destruction, with form and material carrying the narrative weight of the work.
