Clare Millar is a writer who fell in love with molten glass in 2019. Since 2021, she has been a regular trainee at Ruth Allen Glass, working with Ruth, Nick Doran Adams and Juniper Maffescioni to hone foundational skills in glassblowing. She has undertaken masterclasses by Corey Pemberton, Tom Rowney and Giles Bettison, and exhibited in Glass Futures at Craft Victoria in 2025. She was the inaugural Writer-in-Residence at Canberra Glassworks in 2022, and works full-time in the publishing industry.

Directors are elected by members for three-year terms and serve on a voluntary, unpaid basis. They may serve up to two consecutive terms, with eligibility for re-election after a one-year break. The Board assigns office-holder roles from within its members.
