Ausglass are pleased to offer a limited number of bursaries for First Nations scholars and art workers, as well as emerging scholars and artists, to help offset the costs of attending, and to better include these important voices in the discussion. 

FOR FIRST NATIONS ART WORKERS/ SCHOLARS 

3 bursaries of $500 each, including free admission to all three days of the conference. 

Open to First Nations scholars, artists, makers and art workers from Australia, Aotearoa and the Pacific Islands.

FOR EMERGING ARTISTS/SCHOLARS 

3 bursaries of $500 each, including free admission to all three days of the conference. 

Open to early career scholars or currently enrolled students studying art history, art or curatorship, as well as emerging artists and makers. Special consideration to those specialising in glass, however all applications will be considered.

To apply for a bursary in either category, please submit the following by email to president@ausglass.org by Midnight on the 15th December, 2024:

  • Full name and contact information

  • Artist Bio (100 words) and CV

  • A statement outlining why you would like to attend the conference and its benefit towards your current work, artistic practice or studies (500 words)

  • Your anticipated costs of attending the conference
