Ausglass Members Insurance is individual artist insurance available exclusively to Ausglass Members.
Product & public liability coverage (up to $20,000,000)
Property coverage (up to $100,000).
In summary;
annual premium of $229 (revenue less than $50,000*).
annual premium of $344.50 (revenue between $50,000 - $100,000*).
claim excess is $1000
covers the insured Member and two others who are working on the same project.
covers making, selling, exhibiting and teaching (for up to 20 people per workshop).
Prior to applying for insurance you must read the Policy Schedule in conjunction with the Broadform Liability Policy from SLE Worldwide Australia, the insurer. These documents contain full details, in particular exclusions that will not be covered by the policy.

NB: The terms of this insurance package include the requirement that the insured must be an Ausglass Member for the period of insurance. In practice this means that the membership and insurance years must coincide. i.e. Take the insurance option when you first join and at the time of each membership year renewal.
If after joining/renewing membership you subsequently require insurance, contact secretarymembership@ausglass.org before making application for insurance.
After insurance payment is received a Certificate of Currency will be emailed directly to the insured Member by AON. (NB If a certificate is not received please contact billing@ausglass.org.)
