In 2019 Ausglass partnered with CraftACT+Design Centre and Design Tasmania to support this collaboration between prominent Australian and Italian Glass designers as a part of the Design Canberra Festival 2019.

The concept was inspired by the Murano glass chandelier that Italian-born architect Enrico Taglietti install in 1967 for the Italian Ambassador’s residence in Canberra.  The exhibition draws a parallel between Venetian contemporary glass production and the Australian experience.

After its showing in Canberra (5 Nov - 14 Dec, 2019) the exhibition travels to Design Tasmania (February, 2020)  and on to Milan Design Week (June?, 2020) and Venice Glass Week (September, 2020).
