Callout for Exhibitions
Call for Exhibitions: Inaugural Australian Glass Biennial – February 2027

In February 2027, Sydney will host the first-ever Australian Glass Biennial — a month-long city-wide celebration of contemporary glass art. Anchored by the Ausglass Conference, this inaugural biennial will bring together Australian and international glass artists, curators, collectors, and enthusiasts for a dynamic program of exhibitions, open studios, talks, and events.

We’re inviting galleries, artist-run spaces, collectives, and individuals to be part of this milestone moment in Australian glass by:
  • Staging exhibitions in Sydney (or elsewhere in Australia, especially if timed with the February program)
  • Opening studios to the public
  • Hosting artist talks, panels, or performance-based projects
Ausglass will provide:
  • Program inclusion and national/international promotion
  • Listing in our official Biennial guide and online calendar
  • Support with coordination and scheduling

Whether you're already planning a show or want to create one for this occasion, we want to hear from you!

Submit your expression of interest including:
  • Exhibition or event title
  • Venue
  • Artists involved
  • Key dates
  • Any proposed public program elements (talks, workshops, etc.)

This is an unmissable chance to be part of a landmark moment in Australian glass history. Let’s make it big.
